Why Mountain BOCES?

Colorful paper cutout figures with text about licensure programs for principals and teachers.
Alternative Teacher Licensure candidates must obtain an employment agreement with a Colorado public school as a teacher in the endorsement area for which they are qualified.

Mountain BOCES offers a highly flexible, hybrid program that allows teachers to work at the pace that best suits their needs. Our program is a great fit for those that work well independently and with minimal oversight.

The Alternative Teacher Licensure Program has both an online, asynchronous course component as well as a Field-Experience  requirement that gives teachers hands-on, real-time experience in the classroom.

If you would like to enroll in our program and have been hired by a district, please fill out the enrollment paperwork above and email it to: Professional Learning, pl@mtnboces.org
