Child Find screenings can answer many questions about your child's development and learning
Who can refer a child for a free screening?
- Parents and other family members
- Preschools/Private Schools
- Child Care Providers
- Doctors/Nurses
- Community Agencies
- Anyone who works with children or school age students
Child Find Services
- Screening - developmental screening in all areas; speech/language, fine motor skills, gross motor coordination, learning, hearing, vision, and social adaptability
- Educational Support - Intervention support for specific educational concerns; targeted evaluations for children who may require an Individualized Education Plan (IEP); and special education support services
- Consultation - Information provided to parents about child development, behavior management, and community resources
- Community Referrals - Information and referrals to community resources which provide a variety of services, including preschool programs
